6.10.07

Wow. Another great weekend comes to a close for me. How about you?

You know what, hold onto that, I'm just going to quickly run down my awesome weekend before you start mouthing off.

I guess it all started on Friday when I got off work at the all-things-fun hour of 2:30pm. In the beautiful weather, I waited on the outdoor platform for my train. It let me wait just long enough to enjoy the summer air, but not so long as to make me the slightest annoyed. Instead of going home, I took a detour to Union Square. I wanted to see what people look like as they scurry around doing their what-have-you jobs. It's so cute to see people running in and out of staples for manila envelopes and 1/3rd cut file folders, while I sit on the grass enjoying the weather. Isn't it interesting the way a day can be so different for everyone?

Anyway, after that I went home and took a beauty nap. It's really great for the skin and your tones and stuff. Really, you should try it. Also, resting in my room is great. See, I have windows on two different walls, so I get a cross breeze of very fresh air. This is great for my lungs.

Friday night was pretty low key. I just read a book for a while in the park. It's really great to always be reading something, especially stuff that's not celebrity magazines and/or soft cover thrillers. Also, I sat near a body of running water; another good thing to be doing...

After I read my book, I went home and fell asleep. My girlfriend came into my bed in the middle of the night.

Saturday was really great also. I had a rehearsal for this short play I'm in. It's nothing really. But the rehearsal went really great. I was able to find all these different levels to the character I was portraying. At one point, the other actors in the play stopped me and said, "Wow, you're really adding such a professional dynamic to this production... it's impressive..."

After that, I had a softball game. I played first base and hit a triple.

Then I jumped into my local pool, it's free and refreshing. You weren't there.

Following this, I went to Latin Food Day Festival, I had a taco, it was super cheap and super fresh, straight from Latin. Would you even know what that tasted like if it dropped in your mouth directly?

Could it get any better? Yes.

I hit up an outdoor bar and drank dark rum as the day faded away.

The next morning I got a giant package. It was my steak of the month delivery! I ate the mouth watering meat right on the spot.

Also, I read the entire Sunday Times from a flotation device going down a lazy river.

You didn't do any of this.

I called you though, from the beach, right after finishing the latest David McCullough tome on the annexation of Louisiana. You said you were busy finishing up work from last week. No prob, I'll do it all again next week and give you a call.
